Radiographic Testing (RT)

Radiographic Testing (RT) is one of the most reliable and effective methods of non-destructive testing used to examine the internal structure of welds and materials. Using short wavelength electromagnetic radiation (X-rays or gamma rays), RT penetrates materials to reveal hidden flaws such as incomplete penetration, porosity, slag inclusions, and cracks that may not be visible to the naked eye.

Penetrant Testing (PT)

Penetrant Testing (PT), also known as Dye Penetrant or Liquid Penetrant Inspection, is a cost-effective method used to detect surface-breaking defects in non-porous materials. This method is ideal for identifying cracks, seams, laps, or porosity on weld surfaces and components.

Our technicians carefully clean and prepare the surface, apply the penetrant, and allow it to seep into potential flaws. A developer is then used to draw the penetrant back to the surface, revealing any discontinuities under UV or visible light. PT is a fast, accurate solution for detecting surface flaws during both fabrication and maintenance phases.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) is specifically used for ferromagnetic materials like steel, iron, and nickel alloys. This method detects surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities by introducing a magnetic field into the test area. When defects are present, the magnetic field is disrupted, creating leakage fields that attract ferrous particles and form visible indications.
